Citrus bergamia Risso et Poiteau, the scientific name of Bergamot, has been endemic in the Mediterranean area for several centuries and currently its production is limited to the Calabria region (Southern Italy).
Vazguard® is a standardized extract from Bergamot in Phytosome® formulation. Its BFC - Bergamot Polyphenolic Fraction - has shown to support health in case of challenges related to metabolic syndrome - sustained by inner abdominal fat - like high blood sugar, fatty liver, abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels, commonly associated to lack of physical activity, overweight, unhealthy diet and irregular life-style.
