Cardiovascular diseases still represent one of the major causes of death in the world, with high levels of blood pressure playing a key etiologic role.1 At the same time stress, worries and contingent situations can negatively pollute our state of health.
Born from 40 years of Indena’s specific experience in grape seed extract production – in collaboration with Alvinesa - Enovita® Organic aims to become an ally for stress resilience and cardiovascular wellbeing.
But there’s more: it is the perfect example of the “One Health” approach: with clinically proven efficacy1,2, it is also sustainable for the planet and organic certified (fully compliant with EU and USDA organic regulations).
Enovita® Organic into action
Grapes have high levels of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), with seeds offering the highest concentration of the entire plant. In particular, OPCs are effective for cardiovascular wellbeing – as antioxidants, blood glucose positive modulators, cardiovascular-friendly and neuroprotective agents.2
With the modern take on blood pressure being “the lower, the better” to prevent CVDs, a recent human study showed that Enovita® Organic is able to modulate blood pressure also in healthy people and borderline subjects, confirming the results obtained also in people with higher cardiovascular risk.1,2
However, its potential is not limited to the blood pressure control: the same study revealed that Enovita® Organic is effective in improving mood, stress management and quality of life, as well as in reducing perceived stress and worries.2 That makes it a new potential support for the resilience of the body, acting both on the cardiovascular wellbeing and on the neurological side, promoting a sort of virtuous cycle where mind and body are naturally in balance.

With Enovita® Organic, quality meets sustainability. It is made exclusively with grape seeds from white wine production, transforming a waste product in something unique and starting a virtuous up-cycling process.
In order to always maintain the consistency and quality of its extract, Indena established a strong collaboration with Alvinesa and its vineyards in South-Central-Spain, guaranteeing a total control over the supply chain, starting from the raw materials. Grapes are the product of an organic farming system that avoids the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Also, the extraction process is carried out using only water, without the use of other less environmentally friendly solvents.
Enovita® Organic is the first 100% Indena’s extract, certified by CertiPaq BIO and fully compliant with European and USDA organic standards.
